Suvio ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and the name you provide. This is used to identify your account and communicate with you.
Recipe Data. We store the recipes you save, import, and create, along with your favorites, meal queue, grocery lists, and cooking session history. This data is tied to your account and is private to you (and your family group, if applicable).
Voice Commands. When you use Voice Mode, your speech is streamed in real-time to Deepgram for transcription. Cooking questions are sent to Anthropic (Claude) for responses. Voice commands are not stored permanently by Suvio or our AI providers.
Usage Data. We collect basic usage information (features used, error logs) to improve the app. This is not linked to your identity.
Third-Party Services
The following third parties process data on your behalf when you use Suvio:
- Deepgram — speech-to-text transcription of voice commands
- Anthropic (Claude) — processing cooking questions and generating responses
- ElevenLabs — converting text responses to spoken audio
- RevenueCat — processing subscription purchases and verifying entitlements
- Supabase — secure cloud storage for your account and recipe data
- Apple (In-App Purchase) — payment processing for subscriptions
Each provider's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to provide and improve Suvio. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and recipes are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
